Neco Elements is a next generation solution-focused manufacturer of prefabricated elements, located in Pyhäntä, Finland. We have several decades of experience as a major Finnish element manufacturer. Neko builds on those distinguished traditions in prefabricated construction, bringing along many fresh approaches and element solutions.
At Neco, our key goal is to help our clients reduce construction times. We combine our extensive experience in prefabricated construction from design to finished elements with the passion to always make the process of prefabricated construction more inventive and reliable, smoother, faster, and safer.
Our name, Neco, is short for Nordic Element Company. It reflects our strong commitment to Nordic quality in our products.
We bring a comprehensive service approach to element prefabrication. Primarily, we offer our clients complete construction systems and make processes that are attractive and uncomplicated for them. In order to avoid construction pitfalls, our sales, project management, and design processes go hand in hand from the beginning of the project to its final phase.
Our factory, located in Pyhäntä, is one of the largest prefabricated element factories in Finland. Highly automated operations enable us to manufacture elements to precise dimensions. Our experienced designers create modern and accurate 3D designs that our clients can use during installation, where necessary.
In our view, prefabricated elements should be utilised more widely in construction in Finland than at present. It would improve the productivity of construction, reduce the costs of construction projects, enable the more effective use of labour, shorten the lead time of projects, and benefit the environment. For these reasons, we focus all our efforts to developing and producing efficient and functional prefabricated element solutions.
We are a flexible and reliable service partner providing you with highly versatile elements and modules that help reduce construction time. Shorter construction times and using timber elements, instead of less environmentally friendly options, also reduces CO2 emissions and improves the sustainability of construction.
We invest in occupational safety
Our prefabricated elements are manufactured under standardised conditions and sheltered from the weather in our factory, as such providing a safe work environment our employees.
Occupational safety is also important to us in many other ways. We continuously develop our safety practices and processes and ensure that our employees are always safe at work.
Environmental responsibility
Wood has an excellent ability to bind CO2 even after it has been felled and, for example, processed into a timber element. The longer a timber product is in use, the longer it will bind and store CO2 from the atmosphere.
Timber construction has wide-ranging benefits for the environment. In contrast to many other forms of construction, timber construction can mitigate climate change and promote circular economy.
In Finland, one third of CO2 emissions are related to housing and construction, and using timber for construction can bring significant climate and environmental benefits. Increasing the share of timber in construction to replace non-renewable and energy-consuming manufacturing processes reduces the total emissions from construction.
At Neco, we work to shape timber elements into even more innovative solutions for different applications. For example, we can help construction projects contribute to climate action through providing timber cladding, timber balconies, and timber modules for multi-storey construction.
Society has set targets for reaching carbon net zero, and the European Union and Finland and its regions or municipalities, for example, have their own goals. Nevertheless, the construction industry is under pressure to find ever more innovative solutions that bind more CO2 and are more environmentally friendly.
